Andrés Guido Pérez Escobar

Much of my artistic development has been self-taught, always rooted in the tradition of figurative art. I studied at the Escuela Nacional de Bellas Artes Prilidiano Pueyrredón in Buenos Aires. After relocating to Spain, I continued refining my technique through workshops with renowned artists Jaime Valero Perandones, Kike Meana, and Irene Cuadrado.

In early 2020, I had the opportunity to participate in an intensive one-week workshop with acclaimed American painter Vincent Desiderio.

I have taken part in several group exhibitions in Buenos Aires, most recently at the “Borges 1975” bookstore. In Spain, I’ve also participated in two collective shows.

My work Nocturno II (2019) was preselected for the Centelles Art Prize, and in 2023 I was selected for the Gregorio Prieto Museum’s Drawing Prize. This recognition included exhibitions at the museum itself and at Casa de Vacas in Madrid’s Retiro Park.
